We are excited to incorporate Ventura history into 2018 Restaurant Week. The fire roasted Ortega Chili we all know and love was created just down Main St. near the 33 by the Ortega Adobe (still standing) in 1897. At one point they were creating 1,000 cans a day! In this year of celebrating #VenturaStrong we are honoring our heritage through the Ortega Chili. Stop by any of the 20 participating locations and take part in Ventura’s past and our recovery.
